<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress gloss unevenness due to transparent toner. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing device 10, the lower at least one of concentration and density of halftone dot pixels constituting a halftone dot region is, the higher maximum gloss imparting amount is set as a maximum gloss imparting amount indicating a maximum value of a transparent toner amount imparted to each pixel constituting image data read by a scanner 400. Further, variations of each texture pixel and peripheral pixels of each texture pixel are calculated for each texture pixel constituting a texture region.
