<p>Provided is a light source device which, when using a light source that excites a phosphor by means of excitation light in order to emit fluorescent light, increases the output of excitation light by reducing the incidence of the excitation light to the excitation light source, and extends the life of the light source. This light source device is provided with a plurality of excitation light sources (5a, 5b, 5c) that emit excitation light, a phosphor (3) for changing excitation light into fluorescent light, a dichroic mirror (7), and a condenser lens (4) that concentrates excitation light onto an excitation light irradiation region on the phosphor (3), wherein the plurality of excitation light sources (5a, 5b, 5c) is arranged such that excitation light radiated from each of said excitation light sources (5a, 5b, 5c) enters the center of the condenser lens (4) asymmetrically.</p> |
