<p>In order to eliminate the need for a shim adjustment to eliminate backlash and improve the ease of assembly for a rotation transmission device that controls the engagement and release of a two-way clutch by means of an electromagnetic clutch, a positioning part (5) is provided at the inner circumference at one end of a housing (3) that houses a two-way clutch (10) and an electromagnetic clutch (50) which controls the two-way clutch (10), and by means of an elastic member (7) supported by this positioning part (5), the two-way clutch (10) and the electromagnetic clutch (50) are biased toward a retaining ring (8) provided at the inner circumference at the other end of the housing (3), thus eliminating backlash.</p> |
