<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advantageous method for manufacturing a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet excellent in quality stability, which effectively suppress a grain size variation which has been concerned in the existing technology to stably develop desired magnetic characteristics when manufacturing a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet using an inhibitorless material. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet uses, as a material, a slab formed of inhibitorless components and containing 3-15 mass ppm Ca to manufacture the grain-oriented magnetic steel sheet, wherein a content of S in the components of the slab is adjusted to a range satisfying the expression (1): 8+Ca (ppm)×0.7<S (ppm)≤50 (ppm) according to a content of Ca. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
