<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding member which prevents moire generation caused by interference with a pixel array of an image display panel, simultaneously prevents light and shade irregularity caused by coarseness and fineness of a mesh pattern, and prevents reduction in contrast caused by external light reflection in a mesh while keeping conductivity, and to provide a combined laminate and image display device which use the electromagnetic wave shielding member. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding member comprises a conductor pattern layer 1 having a dark color layer 2 on its surface. A mesh pattern 1P, which is shown by the conductor pattern layer and defines many openings A, is formed by many boundary lines L extending between two branch points B to define the openings where an average number N of the boundary lines L extending from one branch point is equal to or larger than 3.0 and smaller than 4.0 (3.0≤N<4.0), and includes a region where there is no direction in which the openings are arranged in a regular cycle period.
