The device has a first traction drive (Z1) coupling a combustion engine (1) with a wheel drive module (M). A second traction drive (Z2) couples an electromotor (2) with the wheel drive module. Step-up gears (3, 4) i.e. spur gears, are respectively provided between the first traction drive and the combustion engine and between the second traction drive and the electromotor for reducing rotational speed at a power input of the respective traction drives against the rotational speed of a drive shaft of the combustion engine and/or the electromotor.
