PURPOSE: A control device of an air conditioner, the air conditioner with the same, and a self-diagnosis method are provided to automatically inspect the built-in functions, thereby removing the factors possible causing the problems in advance. CONSTITUTION: A control device of an air conditioner comprises an input unit(140), a driving unit(120), a sensing unit(130), and a control unit(110). The input unit includes one or more input members and receives a self-diagnosis command. The driving unit drives units constituting an indoor unit or an outdoor unit according to the driving signals. The sensing unit includes one or more sensors and outputs state information of the units by sensing states of the units, or outputs the motion information by sensing an operation result. The control unit generates driving signals according to the self-diagnosis command and diagnoses the units based on the motion information or the state information.
