A pipe connector comprises a plurality of galvanized steel wall components 1 each consisting of a flexible metal sheet and to which is secured as by spot welding a metal strip 2. The metal sheets are also provided with guide members 4 to accommodate straps 8 which secure the component together. The straps 8 may be tensioned by an over-centre device (not shown). The plain edge of a component fits in the recess formed between the metal strip 2 and the edge of the adjacent component, the recess being of such a depth as to allow a considerable degree of adjustment between the edges of adjoining wall components without departing from their overlapping relationship. The connector may comprise a cylindrical unit consisting of two components each being semicircular in cross-section.
