<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform an operation to introduce tensile force such as tightening force and tensioning force for generating friction with a friction plate. <P>SOLUTION: A friction damper 1 is constituted by arranging a friction plate 4 and a friction plate 6 slidably on surfaces 3, 7 of a both-sided friction plate 2 so that the both-sided friction plate 2 is sandwiched, inserting a rod 21 into a long hole 25 formed in the both-side friction plate 2 and drawing the friction plate 4 and friction plate 6 to each other with the rod, fitting a box body 5 to one surface 3 of the both-sided friction plate 2 so that the friction plate 4 is stored, and fixing a peripheral edge area 8 of the one surface 3 of the both-sided friction plate 2 except an area covered with the box body 5 to one of mutually opposite concrete members, and fixing a load transfer member 17 coupled to the friction plate 6 to the other concrete member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
