<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motion apparatus which can prevent microparticles generated inside a nut from leaking outside even at a place where high speed transportation by high throughput or further improvement of a cleaning degree is required. <P>SOLUTION: The linear motion apparatus has a threaded shaft 10, the nut 20 relatively moving in an axial direction of the threaded shaft 10, a pair of seal caps 30, 30 provided at both ends of the nut 20 in the axial direction, and a tubular connecting member 50 which communicates with first through-holes 31, 31 respectively formed at the pair of seal caps 30, 30. Opening space of the tubular connecting member 50 formed at one of the seal caps 30 which is provided at a side opposite to a direction where the nut 20 proceeds is greater than space between a second seal member 42 of each of the seal caps 30 and the outer periphery of the threaded shaft 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
