<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling unit of an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, capable of effectively suppressing decline in cooling capacity when a compressor is stopped, and of efficiently draining condensed water generated on cool storage medium containers. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling unit includes an evaporator 2 with a cool storage function and a drain case 3 disposed below the evaporator 2 with the cool storage function. The cool storage medium containers 18 and outer fins 19 of the evaporator 2 with the cool storage function have outward projecting portions 24, 27 which project from refrigerant flow tubes 15 toward the leeward side, respectively. The drain case 3 includes a condensed water drain portion 32 which drains condensed water generated on the evaporator 2 with the cool storage function from at least one of the lower end of the outward projecting portion 24 of each cool storage medium container 18 and the lower end of the outward projecting portion 27 of each outer fin 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
