<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing calcium fluoride suitable for a raw material for producing hydrofluoric acid, the method eliminating the concern about interfusion of a hydrochloric acid component when the hydrofluoric acid is produced. <P>SOLUTION: The method of producing the calcium fluoride by the reaction of hydrofluoric acid-containing water and calcium carbonate includes a synthesis reaction step [1] that has a ripening time during which the reaction of the calcium carbonate is promoted in the hydrofluoric acid-containing water having a fluorine concentration of 50,000 mg/L or larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
