<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever-type connector in which reduction in assemblability to a second connector housing of a fitting operation lever is prevented even when a pair of lever bodies of the fitting operation lever for holding outer surfaces of a pair of side walls opposite to the second connector housing is brought down inward, and furthermore, strength of cover locking pieces equipped in the pair of side walls can be improved in order to lock the cover mounted at the rear end of the second connector housing. <P>SOLUTION: A lever-type connector 1 has a pair of side walls 12a, 12b of a second connector housing 10 which are equipped with a boss part 14 for lever support engaged with a fitting operation lever 20, and a cover locking piece 17 to lock a cover 30.
