<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin carrying device capable of moving a bobbin at high speed around warp and minimizing thread breakage and damage to a reed due to malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: A bobbin carrying device comprises: two arms moving around warp in a vertical direction; an electromagnet disposed at each arm; a bobbin consisting of material attracted by a magnet; vertical driving means for moving the two arms vertically; opening and closing operation means for opening and closing the two arms; switching means for switching the electric conduction state of the electromagnet of each arm ON and OFF independently; and a control signal for synchronizing the vertical driving means, opening and closing operation means and switching means. The electromagnet of one arm for holding the bobbin is magnetized by applying current thereto, while the electromagnet of another arm which does not hold the bobbin is not magnetized without applying current thereto. Two arms move vertically around warp. The bobbin is delivered from one arm to another arm by switching the magnetized states of each electromagnet when the arms are closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
