<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial for a timepiece showing an appearance with rich spatial effect and a timepiece provided with the dial for the timepiece. <P>SOLUTION: A dial 1 for a timepiece comprises a microlens layer where a plurality of microlenses 111 are regularly arranged when planarly viewed and a decorative layer provided with a plurality of linear patterns 121. The microlens layer and the decorative layer are overlapped with each other when planarly viewed.
