The present invention relates to a method for building up metal turbomachine components made of aluminium using a MIG welding apparatus comprising a pulsed-current generator and a pulsed feed of metal filler wire, said method being characterized in that said building up is performed using a metal filler wire the composition of which is of the same nature as the composition of the aluminium alloy of said component being built up, said pulsed feed of metal wire and the rate at which said metal turbomachine component is built up being adapted in such a way as to achieve build up without cracking in the hot state.
