OIL-IN-WATER EMULSION SKIN PREPARATION FOR EXTERNAL USE

Provided is a formulation for improving silicone elastomer dispersibility (stability), which can be applied to a broad range of oil-in-water emulsion bases. An oil-in-water emulsion skin preparation for external use, characterized in containing the following components (a) to (d): (a) a water-soluble thickener having a hydrophobic group; (b) a non-ionic surfactant having an HLB of 14 or higher; (c) a polyether modified silicone having an HLB of 3-5; and (d) a non-emulsifying crosslinked silicone. Preferably, the non-emulsifying crosslinked silicone (d) is formulated in the form of a swollen product swollen in an oil that is liquid at room temperature; preferably, the viscosity of the composition as a whole is 30000 mPa·s or lower.
