<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that applies tensile stress precisely to a stator core (stator) so as to achieve the effect of reducing core loss, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 1 includes: a stator core 5 that has laminated magnetic steel sheets 6; a frame 3 into which the stator core 5 is fitted for mounting; and a rotor 8 that is arranged concentrically with the stator core 5 with a predetermined air gap therebetween. Clearance 17 is provided between an outer edge of the stator core 5 and an inner edge of the frame 3, and an adhesive 19 is filled in the clearance 17 so as to fix the stator core 5 to the frame 3. With the stator core 5 mounted to the frame 3, there is a difference of 0.1 mm or more between an inside diameter of the frame 3 and an outside diameter of the stator core 5 in a position where the frame 3 and the stator core 5 face each other radially. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
