<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicular brushless AC generator in which magnetic resistance is reduced to enable high output with high efficiency, without degrading electric corrosion resistance in a bobbin device in which an excitation coil is installed. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicular brushless AC generator includes: a rotator 2 provided on a shaft 17; a yoke portion 10 having a wall-thickness ring portion 100 fixed on inner walls of brackets 20 and 21 rotatably supporting the shaft and a cylinder portion 101 formed on an inner peripheral side in an axial direction end portion of the wall-thickness ring portion, and opposing to the rotator through a diametrical direction gap; a bobbin 32 arranged so as to surround an axial direction end portion of the wall-thickness ring portion and an outer peripheral surface of the cylinder portion of the yoke portion for winding an excitation coil 13; a plate 31 extended outward in a diametrical direction from one end of the cylinder portion, and joining the bobbin to the yoke portion; and a stator 14 provided on the outside of the rotator while keeping a gap, and to which a magnetic flux generated by the excitation coil is transmitted.
