<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, a printing system, and a startup control method which can start up a device while suppressing power consumption in recovery of a power supply. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: a printing unit including a fuser which is caused to operate by temperature rising; and a control unit for controlling a startup of each unit including the printing unit. The control unit determines whether its own device is normally powered off the last time, in recovery of a power supply. When it is not normally powered off, the control unit starts up each unit except the printing unit, and also acquires device information from other image forming devices connected to the same network and controls startup of the printing unit on the basis of the acquired device information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
