PURPOSE: A laminated plate body inspection device and a method thereof are provided to easily inspect the gap between the edge tips of the laminated plate and the adhesive. CONSTITUTION: A laminated plate body inspection device comprises a line sensor camera(50), a lighting member(51), and a processing unit. The line sensor camera is arranged to be faced a first plate body(11) of a laminated plate body(10). The lighting member irradiates lights to the laminated plate body while being arranged diagonally from the line sensor camera. The processing unit processes image signals output from the line sensor camera projecting the laminated plate body while the lighting member irradiates the lights to the laminated plate body.
