<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus or the like which is suitable for allowing a user to perform operations in the right direction toward a screen. <P>SOLUTION: A view point position and a view line direction are stored in a storage unit 101. A display unit 102 displays, on a screen, an image photographed from the view point position and the view line direction. A receiving unit 103 receives instructing operations. A detecting unit 104 detects a change in direction of the screen. An updating unit 105 updates the view point position on the basis of the instructing operations, and updates the view line direction on the basis of the change in direction of the screen.
