PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for accurately acquiring a position.

SOLUTION: A positioning part 2 mounted on a digital camera 1 includes: a position acquiring part 25 for acquiring first position information 221 indicating a position of the digital camera at the time of acquiring the information; a movement detecting part 26 for acquiring movement information 224 concerning a movement vector of the digital camera; an evaluating part 204 for evaluating the accuracy of the first position information 221 acquired by the position acquiring part 25; and a position information generating part 203 for generating second position information 227 indicating a position of the digital camera, on the basis of the first position information 221 acquired by the position acquiring part 25 and the movement information 224 acquired by the movement detecting part 26, according to an evaluation result by the evaluating part 204.
