<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy and inexpensive reciprocating tool capable of reducing noise. <P>SOLUTION: The reciprocating tool 1 includes a motor 2 being a rotary drive source, and a reciprocation converting mechanism converting the rotation of the motor 2 into the reciprocation of a tip tool. The reciprocation converting mechanism contains an eccentric rotating member (7) rotating in an eccentric manner and a reciprocating member (8) reciprocating in engagement with the eccentric rotating member, and has an elastic member 20 disposed between the eccentric rotating member and the reciprocating member.
