<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic pavement block which maintains abrasion resistance and effectively prevents the occurrence of warpage. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic pavement block A includes a lamination structure of a surface layer 1 formed of granular rubber chips combined with a binder and a cushion layer 2 formed of heat compressed rubber powder without containing a binder. The surface of the elastic pavement block A is provided with the surface layer 1 formed of granular rubber chips combined with a binder, so that the abrasion resistance of the surface of the elastic pavement block A is maintained. The laminated cushion layer 2 formed of heat compressed rubber powder without containing a binder prevents the warp deformation of the surface layer 1 even in the case that the binder of the surface layer 1 is deteriorated. The surface layer 1 is provided with grooves 4 on the surface thereof, so that influence of the heat shrinkage of the surface layer 1 is blocked from expanding over the whole area, thereby more effectively preventing the occurrence of warpage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
