<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for deposition of microorganisms capable of simply arranging and fixing it in a treatment water tank with high arrangement density per unit volume and capable of performing effective biological treatment. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet-like carrier 10A for deposition of microorganisms is immersed and arranged in a treatment water tank into which activated sludge is introduced and which deposits microorganisms in the activated sludge, and is provided with a nonwoven fabric 11 on at least one of the surfaces and has a cylindrical part 12 which is formed, for example, by folding and sewing a part of circumferential edge of the carrier 10A for deposition of microorganisms as a through-hole for inserting a support member such as a support rod 20 for supporting the carrier 10A for deposition of microorganisms. By inserting the support rod 20 into the cylindrical part 12 and utilizing the support rod, the carrier 10A for deposition of microorganisms is able to be arranged and fixed in the treatment water tank with high arrangement density per unit volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
