<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding core round which long material is wound to be subjected to storage and transportation, and which can be easily removed from the wound long material as necessary. <P>SOLUTION: The winding core 10 is formed to be cylindrical by combining at least two wall bodies 1 and 2, and is configured such that the first wall body 1 and the second wall body 2 are combined by sliding the first wall body 1 to a first side T1 in a vertical direction relative to the second wall body 2 and holding the positioning end face of the first wall body 1 on the positioning end face of the second wall body 2, and the first wall body 1 and the second wall body 2 can be separated from each other by sliding the first wall body 1 to a second side T2 in the vertical direction relative to the second wall body 2.
