<p>Provided is an image display device with which it is possible to lessen image quality degradation caused by a scan sequence of scanning a pixel. On the basis of a plurality of inputted frame video signals, a detector unit (4) identifies a motion region which is included in an image according to the video signals, and detects the motion distance and motion direction in which the motion region moves. On the basis of the result of the detection of the detector unit (4) and the scan sequence by which each pixel within the motion region is scanned, a correction unit (5) corrects the video signals. On the basis of corrected video signals which are video signals which are corrected by the correction unit (5), drive units (12, 13, 14) scan a plurality of pixels in the scan sequence, and render a corrected image according to the corrected video signals.</p> |
