The storage (10) has an electrochemical cell (12) arranged in a form-stable metallic housing (14). A laminate (16) is partially arranged at an outer side of the housing, and comprises an electrically insulating layer (18) and a protective layer (22). The laminate is formed as a mold part that is planarly arranged at the housing. Thickness of the insulating layer is in a range of greater than or equal to 7 micrometers and less than or equal to 100 micrometers. A heat conductive layer i.e. heat conductive film, is arranged at a bottom part of the housing and made of polyurethane or silicone. The thickness of the protective layer is in range of greater than or equal to 50 micrometers and less than or equal to 250 micrometers.
