PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently drive even when a drive signal of a fixed voltage is continuously output to an actuator for controlling liquid injection of a liquid injection device.

SOLUTION: This liquid injection device that injects liquid by applying a drive signal to the actuator 116 includes: a drive waveform signal generating circuit 210 for generating a drive waveform signal WCOM that becomes a norm of the drive signal; a modulation circuit 220 that pulse-modulates the drive waveform signal WCOM to generate a modulation signal MCOM; a digital power amplifier 230 that amplifies the power of the modulation signal MCOM to generate a power amplified modulation signal ACOM; and a smoothing filter 240 that smoothes the power amplified modulation signal ACOM to generate a drive signal COM. The modulation circuit 220 changes a carrier frequency according to a voltage value of the drive waveform signal WCOM during a period for retaining a potential of the actuator 116 constant.
