<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of an internal combustion engine that sufficiently closes a cooling air inlet by closing gaps formed in peripheral parts of louver boards when a movable louver closes the cooling air inlet of a fan cover, and facilitates warm-up at a cold start. <P>SOLUTION: This cooling device of an internal combustion engine includes a movable louver (60) for opening/closing a cooling air inlet (53) of a fan cover (50). In the cooling device of an internal combustion engine, cover-side step parts (56u, 56l, 57u, 57l) are formed along opening edge parts of the cooling air inlet (53) of the fan cover (50); louver-side step parts (61id, 61od) are formed in peripheral parts of louver boards (61) of the movable louver (60), opposite the cover-side step parts (56u, 56l, 57u, 57l); and when closing the cooling air inlet (53) by rotating the louver boards (61), the louver-side step parts (61id, 61od) overlap the cover-side step parts (56u, 56l, 57u, 57l) in a contact manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
