LENS DRIVE DEVICE, CAMERA, AND MOBILE PHONE WITH CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive device high in the degree of design freedom in terms of mechanical strength and spring coefficient and excellent in vibration control, and to provide a camera, and a mobile phone with a camera.

SOLUTION: A magnet 13 is disposed on the internal circumferential side of an external peripheral wall 3a of a yoke 3. One end part of a spring 10 is fixed to a lens support 7 and the other end part is fixed to a housing 6. The lens support 7 is supported so as to freely move in the direction of an optical axis with respect to the yoke 3. A lens drive device 1 moves the lens support 7 forward or backward with respect to the housing 6 in the direction of the optical axis of the lens by electromagnetic force generated by supplying power to a coil 15. The spring 10 is composed by placing a plurality of plate springs 9 one on another.
