Provided is an information processing device capable of executing a plurality of applications on respectively different platforms, equipped with: a first operation processing means for processing, on a first platform, of operation commands addressed to an application for the first platform capable of running on the first platform; a second operation processing means for processing, on a second platform different from the first platform, of operation commands addressed to an application for the second platform capable of running on the second platform; and an operation control means running on a predetermined platform, for, on the basis of whether a started-up application is an application for the first platform application or of the second platform, starting up and establishing communication with either the first operation processing means or the second operation processing means for processing operation commands addressed to the application having been started up on the platform in which the started-up application is capable of being run.
