STRETCHER LOADING ASSEMBLY Abstract A vehicle having a cabin (10) for the purpose of transporting a patient. For example the vehicle may be an ambulance. Within the cabin (10) there is located a 5 carriage (20) that is movable from a retracted position located substantially within the cabin (10), and an extended position projecting in a cantilever manner from the rear of the cabin (10). When in the extended position, a stretcher (21) can be loaded onto the carriage (20) and retracted to within the cabin (10).
