<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair having an improved arrangement efficiency, increased cushioning property, and increased resistance against impact from a back seat. <P>SOLUTION: The chair has a backrest portion 16 having a surface covered with a bag-shaped tensile member 24 and receiving the load of a seated person by the tension of the tensile member 24, and the chairs are disposed back and forth, side by side. The backrest portion 16 includes: a pair of right and left side frames 30 and 30 extending vertically and connected with each other at least at the upper parts thereof by an upper frame 32 extending horizontally; and a protective member 42 applied with the tensile member 24 together with the pair of side frames 30 and 30, positioned between the pair of side frames 30 and 30 in a front view, and positioned backward from the pair of side frames 30 and 30 in a side view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
