<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying apparatus capable of reduce a shutter returning time and a bound time, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Bearing members 26a, 26b, which rotatably support respective plurality of driven rollers (22a, 22b) in press-contact with driving rollers 21 (21a, 21b), freely turnably support a shutter member 25 having contact parts 25a, 25b contacting with a sheet.
