Provided is a video processing apparatus capable of displaying video reflecting the intention of a content producer. The video processing apparatus (100) is provided with: an obtaining unit (101, 102) that obtains three-dimensional video, subtitle data, and subtitle depth information that indicates the position of the subtitle data in the depth direction; a depth intensity input unit (103) that receives an input of depth intensity information that is for adjusting the depth feeling of the three-dimensional video; a depth adjustment unit (104, 105) that adjusts the depth feeling of the three-dimensional video and the subtitle depth information in linkage with each other, in accordance with the depth intensity information; a subtitle video creating unit (106) that creates subtitle video from the subtitle depth information adjusted by the depth adjustment unit (105), and the subtitle data; a video compositing unit (107) that creates composite video by compositing the three-dimensional video and the subtitle video; and an output unit (108) that outputs the composite video created by the video compositing unit (107). |
