PURPOSE: A lighting device control device and a controlling method thereof are provided to increase energy efficiency by controlling a lighting device according to the existence of a person. CONSTITUTION: A lighting device control device(200) comprises an information storage part(210), a control part(220), and a communication part. The information storage part stores corresponding relation information between a computer and the mode state information of each computer. The communication part receives a mode conversion signal from multiple computer agent modules. The communication part delivers the received mode conversion signal to the control part. The control part determines the existence of a person in each domain with the mode conversion signal of multiple computers.
