<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operating noise of an electric power steering device at a low cost, and to improve reliability in fixing a noise absorber by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power steering device includes: an electric motor 10 having a motor housing 11; a control device 31 controlling the electric motor 10; a case 32 housing the control device 31; the noise absorber 60 disposed at the outer circumference of the motor housing 11; and a fixation member 70 retaining the noise absorber 60 from the outside.
