<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting system for a seat of a motor vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting system 108 includes a sliding rail 110, a mounting foot member 130 and a covering member 160. The covering member 160 includes a covering portion 162 and an attachment portion 161. The covering portion 162 may cover the mounting foot member 130. In some cases, the covering portion 162 may cover the mounting foot member 130 mounted in a recessed groove 150 in a floor 150 of a motor vehicle.
