<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine or reagent, having a new mechanism of action to immune system diseases, based on findings obtained by functional analysis of a Spns2 gene, and to provide a method useful for development and the like of medicines or reagents. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided an immune function depressed non-human model animal provided by defection of the Spns2 gene, and a screening method for substances that controls the transmigration of lymphocytes from lymphoid organs into blood or lymph vessels, which method comprises: (a) a step of administering a test substance to the non-human model animal and a wild type control thereof; (b) a step of examining and comparing the number of lymphocytes in the blood or the lymph before and after the administration and of the non-human animal model and the wild type control, administered with the test substance; and (c) a step of selecting the test substance fluctuating the number of lymphocytes in the blood or the lymph based on the comparison result in the step (b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
