<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head readily stirring liquid in a pressure chamber without providing another driving source, and to provide a liquid ejecting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid ejecting head 2, liquid is able to be filled in the pressure chamber 23 communicated with a nozzle 29 opened in a nozzle plate 17 and droplets are able to be ejected from the nozzle 29 by applying a change in pressure of the liquid in the pressure chamber 23.
