<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost, facilitate manufacture, reduce weight, and improve efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A heater element 72 includes a first polymer film having a conductive circuit. The conductive circuit includes conductive ink, a second polymer film, and/or resistive or conductive overmolded material. The first polymer film is molded into a surface of a molded object 46. The molded object 46 may be a humidifier or a component of a humidifier. A method of manufacturing an in-mold heater element 41 includes the steps of: providing a conductive circuit on a surface of the first polymer film; placing the first polymer film in a mold such that the non-printed surface of the polymer film is adjacent to the mold; and inserting molding resin such that the first polymer film is incorporated within at least one surface of the molded object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
