<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a target nucleic acid, which can achieve efficient probe hybridization. <P>SOLUTION: The target nucleic acid is amplified using a first primer and a second primer, the amplified fragment thereof and a detection probe that is preliminarily associated with the target nucleic acid are brought into contact with each other in such a manner that the both can be hybridized with each other, and a hybridized product is detected. The first primer contains a tag sequence complementary to the detection probe and a first discrimination sequence discriminating a first base sequence in the target nucleic acid, and has, between the tag sequence and the first discrimination sequence, a connection site capable of inhibiting or terminating a DNA polymerase reaction, and the second primer contains a second discrimination sequence discriminating a second base sequence in the target nucleic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
