UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY, PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of system reliability and operability due to service life of a lead storage battery by accurately predicting residual life of the lead storage battery.

SOLUTION: A use time acceleration factor which is a ratio of actual use time of the storage battery and conversion use time is calculated by using a life degrading acceleration factor of the storage battery which is calculated by using a battery temperature and an expected life reference temperature. Effective residual life time of the battery is calculated by dividing ideal residual life time which is calculated by using expected life time and the conversion use time with the use time acceleration factor. When the effective residual life time is smaller than a first threshold, the life of the storage battery is determined to be expired.
