<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for recycling polychlorinated biphenyl oil, which can effectively utilize it as recycling material through PCB decomposition. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a decomposition process of saponifying and decomposing polychlorinated biphenyl oil by adding and mixing the oil to/with the mixture of magnesium oxide, calcium oxide and magnetite powders, followed by further adding and mixing water to/with this mixture, and a solidification process of molding, fusing and solidifying the mixture from the preceding process. The mixed powder preferably contains 50 to 80 mass% magnesium powder, 10 to 40 mass% calcium oxide powder and 5 to 10 mass% magnetite powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
