<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cover glass for a display device, the glass exhibiting excellent cutability and surface strength reliability, despite using soda-lime glass. The cover glass for a display device according to the present invention is characterised by being formed from chemically reinforced glass, and in that the depth of a compressive stress layer is 6-15mum, the shape parameter, when the failure stress according to a concentric ring bending test is processed in accordance with JIS R1625 (1996), is at least 7, the strength which provides a cumulative failure probability of 1% is 450MPa or more, and the pre-ion exchange glass sheet is soda-lime glass.</p> |
