The rim (1) has decoration or gemstones (2) e.g. zirconia stones such as diamonds, provided in a view side of the rim. The gemstones are permanently and mechanically embedded in recesses that are arranged in the rim. The gemstones are additionally fixed by adhesive i.e. transparent silicone adhesive, and are protected from an edge-side ingress of dirt, where the adhesive is arranged in the recesses. The gemstones are arranged along rim spokes in a star shaped pattern and pressed by a pressure pin, which is pre-tensioned with a spring. An independent claim is also included for a tool i.e. computer numerical control (CNC) supported milling tool, for seizing decoration or gemstones provided in a wheel rim.
