The appliance has a treatment container i.e. rinsing container, for limiting an inner area of the appliance. A drying system (100) is provided for extracting moisture from air (160) in the inner area. The drying system has a liquid container for a solution i.e. common salt solution (150). The liquid container is separated from air to be dehumidified by a membrane (140) i.e. semipermeable textile membrane. A fan directs the air in the inner area to the membrane, where the membrane is arranged at a rear wall of the treatment container. A pump is arranged in the liquid container.
