Disclosed are a brightness function obtaining method and a related apparatus, used for obtaining a brightness function of a display screen at any angle. The method of an embodiment of the present invention comprises: obtaining a first picture of a display screen taken from a first angle; obtaining a second picture and a brightness picture of the display screen taken from a second angle; calculating camcorder parameters according to the first picture; establishing a first coordinate mapping relationship according to the camcorder parameters and location parameters of the display screen; establishing a second coordinate mapping relationship according to the first picture and the second picture; obtaining a third coordinate mapping relationship through calculation according to the first coordinate mapping relationship and the second coordinate mapping relationship; and obtaining a linearization brightness function of the display screen through calculation according to the third coordinate mapping relationship and the brightness picture.
